Allow the story of, “I’ll be happy when _____” to fall away. YOU are the source of your own happiness.

There’s a quote I love by Elizabeth Gilbert: “Argue for your limitations and you get to keep them”.

It’s a no brainer to want to embody happiness now and ‘forget’ our limitations, but this is easier said than done. Especially when you feel consumed by emotions or repetitive thought patterns, which are often ingrained in your subconscious mind. When our limitations consume us, we live a very limited life.

This brings us back to the previous post – breaking down adverse thought patterns to heal them. This is also known as overriding the ego and subconscious mind.

Other ways to establish new thought patterns and reprogram the subconscious mind: A daily gratitude list, meditation, forgiveness journaling, and more.

Your thoughts create your life, why not make them good?
